Teenage Ghost

Vi walked through the wall after she was far enough out of sight from the group. She found the theater for Everlasting Daybreak and went in. It was still early and the theater was empty. She pushed opened the exit door and called to the group, who were just two doors away.
The foursome climbed the stairs to the top and sat down on the very back row of the theater. They sat in the center of the row, so they could see everything that went on. Looking down on the other movie goers like royalty was half the fun.
“Well since Vi paid for our tickets,” Jarzon joked. “Is there anything we gentlemen can get for you ladies at the concession stand as a thank you offering?” Jarzon leaned toward Brenda and smiled.
Brenda replied meekly, “No thank you.”
“How about you, Babe?” Josh put his arm around Vi. “You want anything?”
Vi looked at him sideways, “I want to go to Flyrs after this and get a milkshake.”
“We can do that too.” Josh was always agreeable to Vi.
She smiled sweetly at him, “I’m good.”
“Well I’m getting a soda.” Jarzon said then tapped Josh on the arm. “How about you getting a soda too?”
“Alright.” Josh said knowingly and the two began the long trek down the stairs.

Keisha, Jody, Belenda, and Inja pulled into the movie theater parking lot. The foursome giggled as they made their way to the entrance.
Inja felt her heart skip a beat as she saw Evan standing there waiting for her.
Evan smiled at her and held out his hand to hold hers.
For Inja everything was perfect. She took his hand and instantly felt lightheaded.
The three girls behind her could be heard whispering and giggling to each other. They followed the two to the concession stand, when Jody pointed out the Goth kids walking towards the concession stand.
The three girls ran quickly and got in line behind Inja and Evan.
Inja turned to her friends with a questioning look.
Kiesha smiled and waved, in her usual ‘nothing to see here’ way.
Inja turned back around, whatever it was they were up to she wasn’t going to let it spoil her perfect date. She snuggled close to Evan as he ordered nachos, popcorn, and two cherry sodas.
“So what are you supposed to be” Belenda asked Jarzon. “A zombie?”
“Which airhead plastic doll are you?” Jarzon retorted. “Sorority Dolly?”
    Josh snickered in response.
“So did you two boys come together on a date?” Kiesha piped in. “Let me guess, Everlasting Dawn?” she smiled wryly.
Josh smirked back at her, “It takes a real man to see Everlasting Dawn knowing only chicks like you go see it.”
“So if you ever feel the need to date a real man.” Jarzon stepped forward and got into Kiesha’s face. “I’ll be more than happy to escort you to Everlasting Dawn.” he blew a kiss at her.
    Kiesha rolled her eyes.
“You’re holding up the line.” Josh pointed to the vacant counter.
