Teenage Ghost

Evan and Jeff decided to support the Deerborne Band and go the band competition being held at  Studemont High. Several bands were competing for district finals, and their band had a decent shot this year.
The way to the auditorium was teeming with teenagers. Several Studemont students complained about how too many kids showed up. Most of them gathered in small groups of three to six through the campus to check out the competition.
Jeff and Evan walked past the preppy girl group of five, in the courtyard. For whom they didn’t know how to dress, walk, or know where to get a haircut. The geek squad stood at the hallway entrance doors, there were four boys and one girl. For whom they didn’t know how to dress, looked funny, and Jeff in particular was strange. At the entrance to the Girl’s restroom were the goth girls, three of them stood there like death defined. These girls said nothing as the two passed, they just glared their warning of “keep your distance”. Jeff looked at the middle girl, a girl he knew all too well.
“I see you Vi!” Jeff yelled out and waved to her as he walked past.
Evan confusedly pulled on Jeff away from the girls. “Don’t mess with those girls. I don’t want people here thinking we’re bullies.”
“They’re the bullies!” Jeff turned around and walked towards the auditorium entrance.
Vi and her two cronies quickly fell in line behind them. Vi reached out her hand in front of her friends and smiled her famous malicious smile. She ran the tips of her fingers up to her first joints through Evans lower back.
Evan instinctively shivered and jumped forward. He turned around to see a wickedly smiling Vi and her two giggling sidekicks.
“Do I make you feel all tingly inside?” Vi flashed a fake cute pout at him and batted her eyelashes once.
Evan felt strangely attracted to her.
“Don’t.” Jeff set his hand on his best friend’s arm. His greatest fears began to grip him as he watched Vi begin to flirtatiously smile.
“You know, you look just like this guy I used to date.” Vi walked a little closer.
     “What happened?” Evan questioned.
“His best friend died, and he blamed me for it.” Vi glanced at Jeff for a second then back to Evan.
“That’s too bad..”, Evan took a step back from her and excused himself.
Jeff and Evan walked into the auditorium and took their seats.
Vi and her two comrades sat directly behind them.
