Teenage Ghost

There were two autumn movie spectaculars. One movie was about evil robots taking over the earth, a mastermind team of teenage hackers were poised to save the day. The other movie was a teenage fairy tale romance, complete with evil villainess and prince. Both movies had the most popular actors and actresses of the summer. The robot movie was called “L33T 40RC3 1″, also known as, Elite Force One. The fairy tale romance was called “Lasting Daybreak”. Both were hailed blockbusters.
Inja was torn on which to see. She wanted to see the fairy tale romance, she knew all the characters by name. She had been waiting for this movie since she had heard about its filming over a year earlier. Every single actor and actress in it were her favorites. Almost all the girls were waiting for this one. Jurassia the ebony fairy princess, the sole heir to the crown of Astpasia. A strong female warrior with the ability to fly, she command the mighty army of her father. Jarda, the evil sorceress, had taken the one true love of the princess two days before their engagement was to be proclaimed. Jarda cast a spell on the prince and he swore his heart to her, on the very day he was to proclaim it to Jurassia.
But what if Evan wanted to see the robots.
As if he could read her mind, a text from Evan appeared on her phone. “Lasting Daybreak is showing at the mall at 10pm on Friday.”
Inja smiled. “I was afraid you wouldn’t want to see a fairy tale.”, she texted back.
“There’s nothing wrong with a good love story.” Evan texted back adding a smiley face and heart emoticon.
    Inja giggled out loud.
Her mother heard the outburst of joy and immediately shouted out sternly to her daughter, “Have you finished your homework? You will have time enough to gossip with your friends Friday at Belenda’s.”
“Yes Mama.” Inja shouted back. She texted Evan that she would meet him there, then looked at her science homework and sighed.
    She’d rather be texting Evan.
