Teenage Ghost

Inja stepped out into the three way full length mirror. Her mother would die in shame if she saw this outfit. Inja smiled brightly and she looked at the brown tartan mini skirt and tight light brown tank top. Her legs were covered in a eggshell tights, with dark brown short boots. Her hair was long with loose curls. Her make up was done in earth tones, only leaving her lips a deep brown with a purple overlay. The jacket she wore over the ensemble was adorned with gold accents.
The other girls all looked at each other with deep satisfaction.
Inja couldn’t resist, she pulled out her cell phone and took a selfie. She didn’t post it for fear her parents would see it, but she kept it on her phone.
Kiesha pulled her car keys out and jingled them. “It’s almost that time.”
The girls all finished their preparations, and everyone piled into the four door sedan.

Vi and Brenda exited the bus near the movie theater. They hung out at the bus stop til the others arrived.
About an hour later, Jarzon and Josh arrived.
Brenda felt a slight grip of fear as the two exited the bus and walked towards them.
Jarzon was dressed in black from head to toe. Despite it being still summer temperature he wore a black trench coat, and heavy, black combat boots. The accents he wore were chains, that seemed more like weapons than fashion accessories. His eyes looked like a dead mans, and they sent chills up her spine to look at him. The one saving grace he had, was his hair was blue. At least they had that in common, though he obviously bleached his hair and dyed it.
Josh had shoulder length black hair and wore heavy black makeup. He looked less threatening than Jarzon. He walked past her and grabbed Vi pulling her close and kissing her.
“Hi.” Jarzon said as he walked up to Brenda. He had a strange smile on his face.
    Brenda meekly replied, “Hi.”
Vi pulled back from Josh, “Okay, here’s what we’re going to do.” She moved away and pointed at the theater. “You three are going to wait around back. I’m going to pay for my ticket, and then go the exit and open the door and you guys can all come in. You got it?”
Brenda all of the sudden felt more nervous and scared than she ever had in her life.
Jarzon noticed it right away. “Don’t worry, we do this all the time.” he put his arm around her. “The worst they will do is throw us out. They wont call the police or nothing.”
Brenda liked the feeling she got when he put his arm around her. She was still nervous and scared, but she also felt something else. A boy liked her! Then he put his arm around her when he knew she was scared!
