Jon cleared his throat and averted his eyes to the ground before bringing them up again at Jonothan.
Jonothan smiled brightly, “Ahhh Jas, where are yo’r manners?” He smirked then put his hand forward to Jon, “I’m Jonothan D’Brau.” He passed me a sideways glance before his next words, “Jasylins’ Jealous Lover.”
Jon raised an eyebrow at me.
I shrugged it off and looked the other way.
“Your name is not unknown to me.” Jon straightened himself slightly. “I remember well your little excursion with the Emperor.” He glanced at me out of the corner of his eye, “Over a woman no less.”
I smirked and shifted my weight.
Jonothans’ smiled faded as he retracted his hand. “You be wise to keep to yo’r self.” Jonothan glanced at me for a second then back, “An keep yo’r hands to yo’rself as well. De other one I just fight for, DIS one I kill for.”
“I do not take threats lightly.” Jon warned.
Jonothan smiled brightly, “Dat’s no threat, it’s a promise.”
“You better leave Jonothan before…” I started.
“Before what?” Sertoff walked up. “Why is it when I see Jonothan I see you right by his side?”
“Impeccable timing?” I shrugged.
“You know whose side you should be by.” he watched me.
“You’re right.” I put my arm into Jon’s and ushered him out of the room.
